[Dulpicate/Invalid] sound recording not functional on HP compaq dc5750 with ubuntu 9.04
I can play sounds from all application , but cannot record . I have all the volume levels up and everything is unmuted. (one more interesting thing to note is that the from jack for mic and speakers work on windows when dual -booted from windowsXP , which does not seem work on Ubuntu 9.04)
All I am hear on recording through arecord,or any recording application is silence.
