no sound in flashplayer 10 - Ubuntu/8.10 (intrepid) Firefox/3.0.4

Have installed ubuntu 8.10 intrepid, firefox 3.0.4 and Flashplayer plugin-nonfree 10

Video playback is perfect, but no sound on vid-sharing sites. All other sounds work well on the machine...
In sound preferences Sound Playback settings are all set on - SIS SI7012 with AD1888 SIS SI7012 (OSS)

Oh, it was a pulseaudio issue :) I solved it

I used this http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=789578&highlight=pulseaudio+fixes thread
and additionally disabled login sounds
and it helped
