can the first letten of a word after the foolstop turn automatticaly into capital letter?

Asked by katerina s

I do not know what exactly you mean with a foolstop (and i can not read what you posted above :-( ), however, this might help:
in a writer-document create a characterstle and apply it to the drop-caps-property of your textstyle. This is how you can do that:

format > styles and formating {F11}
click the second button (a capital A) (character styles)
right-click some white-space and click new
organizer > choose a name (for example "Example")
font-effects > effects > choose capital
for some extra effect: background > choose a background (you might want to remove the background later)

in the styles and formating dialog click the first button on top (paragraph styles)
right-click on "default" and select "modify"
drop-caps > check "display drop-caps" characterstyle: choose your newly created style ("Example")
click "ok"
now, type at least 2 or three lines of text....

please let me know if this solved your problem.....

thanks for answering. unfortunately it didn't solve the problem. what i
am trying is to have automatically capital letters after a fool stop.
(.) for example. My name is Katerina. I live in Greece . the letters M
and I in windows automatically are capitals. Now i have to press caps
lock. is there any solution?
