Hi Dave

You have the option to 'Save As' in a variety of formats. If you use MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc) at work, use Save As and from the drop down box of file types, choose something like Microsoft Word 97/2000/XP (.doc).

If you ant to save all your work in MS Office format, you can go to Tool > Options... > OpenOffice.org > Load/Save > Microsoft Office and set OOo up to convert formats automatically.

Hope this helps.

Tony

If you're not using OpenOffice and the program you are using doesn't support exporting to Word, you can save your documents as RTF (rich text format). It is an early format developed by Microshaft which is available on almost all word pro packages and all of them can read RTF files.

Can you help with this problem?
