caps lock reversed

Asked by martinholsinger

i was typing and hit a wrong key, not sure which one, which raised some kind of box for modifying open office...i didn't pay much attention to it, just hit OK to close it, and then discovered that i had somehow reversed my caps lock button--i only get lower case with the caps lock on, and type upper case without it. This is kind of inconvenient, and I can't figure out how to reverse it from browsing the open office control bar....somebody must know the answer!
thanks!

f it doesn't fix and it ONLY affects openoffice then close all office apps and run:

mkdir ~/oldoffice; mv ~/.openoff* ~/oldoffice/

Then rerun the app. If it's ok you can remove the ~/oldoffice folder (this will default the config of openoffice for your user. You can reinstate the settings by copying back the folder)
