sudo apt-get install wine

you can check compatibility at:

You can only run as exe file using wine as it was mentioned before,
other that I recommend looking for an open-source alternative to the
software you are trying to use. A native software runs much better
than one on wine

You can also broaden your horizons with a virtual machine :)
If you are interested, try out Sun's virtual machine package: sudo apt-get install virtualbox-ose

I would recommend using a open source alternative for the application
you are looking for, its usually the best way to have native apps to
work on Ubuntu other than that if you need something specific , feel
free to use virtualbox :D

VirtualBox WILL require a valid windows license and an install media of some sort so is only viable with cost. I suggest finding an open alternative.

Please follow what actionparsnip suggested, you will have to pay for
windows, so an open source alternative will be better plus native
softwares tend to perform better :D
