Most of the PPDs are part of the foomatic package, and are store here:

/usr/share/foomatic/db/source/PPD

Hal,
What happens when you go to "Systems->Administration->Printing' and then select "New Printer".... do your printers show up in the "detected printers" part of the dialog?

No, they don't show up. The HLaserjet P2015 is attached to an Xandros system and the HP Photojet is attached to a Windows XP Media Edition system.

Hal,
Sorry for the long delay in getting back to you. Real life intervened :) Give this a try:

Go to "Systems->Administration->Printing' and then select "New Printer"
Select "Network Printer" and then in the adjacent drop down, select "Windows Printer"

Fill in the information about your HP Photojet, and see how that works. Once we have that one tackled, we can approach the Xandros-attached printer.

    Regards,
         --Matt

Hal,
Could you retry the last test again, but when you enter the username, enter it in this format:

  workgroup name/username

There were some bugs opened about this a bit back, and it looks like this was the work around.

After rebooting the Windows XP computer and waiting about 10" for
Windows to think about the changes I am now able to print to the
Photosmart C3100. Today I was able to successfully connect to the
Xandros computer and print to the HPLaserjet P2015.
Thank you for the assistance, it has been greatly appreciated. I am new
at really trying to work with Linux so things are a bit of a struggle
right now.
