brasero is automatically started when i select places

Asked by Bill Weder

When I select places, home folder, instead of the file system display, i get brassero.
What did it do wrong and how do i fix the problem?
I also get the problem when I select "places","desktop" or "Documents" or "Music" or "Pictures" or "Videos", all of which are part of the "Places" drop down menu.

Thanks

This is not a brasero issue... is some nautilus dir open app association issue.

On a work area with any app open press alt+f2 and type

nautilus

then press enter.

select a directory then right click with mouse and change the "open with..." association

Unfortunately, this does not answer the problem because the right click with mouse does not show a menu which allows the "open with" option to be displayed. How do I get to change the open with options for this special drop down menu from the "Places" ?
