Why is MythTV in multiverse?

Hello,

Why is MythTV in multiverse? Are there any legal problems in the U.S. I should be aware of? Thanks!

Read this article [1], it talks about some problems in US regarding TV,
other than that, you can install myth tv using the terminal, sudo
apt-get install mythtv.

Thank you for getting back to me, but I looked at that page, and it didn't specifically note any legal issues...it did note the video formats used, so I can check up on that patent status of those...is that what you meant?

Yep, its only the video codes that cause the legal issues, the rest
should be fine :)
