meson (0.44.0-1) unstable; urgency=medium

  * New upstream release.
  * Do not run D library tests, because GDC has problems
    with them. Closes #879976.
  * Fixed dependency declarations so a nocheck build
    no longer requires Rust. Closes #879704.
  * Converted thorough autopkgtest to run the full test
    suite including all dependency tests.
