ubuntu 10.04 change screen resolution
I removed Ktorrent and Beryl. Then my system went buggy. I attempted to reinstall both, but things got worse. I am currently with screen resolution settings of 640 x 480, and I cannot scroll to the Apply buttons, or other buttons when applicable. My videocard is not mentioned in the list. It is an All in Wonder ATI card 9000, I believe. However, I installed all ATI drivers. I don't know how to use the terminal yet, so under the GUI I only found 'Settings' then 'Periferals' then 'Monitor and Display' The maximum setting is 640 x 480. Without being able to scroll to get to Apply or Administration Mode, I am unable to search for other options that might help me find a way to change the settings. I have a 17" monitor and at 640 x 480, I cannot view an entire screen to view my options. This happened once before when I first installed Kubuntu, but I cannot remember what I did to get it corrected.
