Support for HTTP(S) proxies

Asked by Derek Weber

Does Gwibber have support for running behind a firewall proxy (HTTP or HTTPS)? I can't find any settings to modify and can't seem to make any connections with my Twitter and Facebook accounts. I think I read somewhere else that proxy support didn't exist in the version for Ubuntu 9.10 but I thought it might have come along for 10.04.

Possibly related to Question #110360.

Thanks very much.

Derek.

Thanks very much. I'll keep an eye on that because it suggests proxy support will be included within a couple of months.
