impossibile accedere ubuntu

ho diviso il disco "c" in due parti una xp e una ubuntu 9.10 al momento dell avvio non riesco più alanciare ubuntu e sono costretto a scegliere xp? ho altre possibilità oltre all istallazione da capo?

Scusami ma hai appena installato Ubuntu e non riesci a farlo partire o avevi un Ubuntu già installato ed ora riscontri questo problema...

avevo già installato ubuntu e funzionava corretamente ma ora dopo parecchi mesi
al momento di scegliere con quale sistema operativo lavorare il pc rifiuta di
lanciare  U e torna sempre al menu di scelta e l'unica possibilità cade appunto
su XP

Forse è un problema di Grub, quindi prova a ripristinarlo seguendo questa guida.
