Dear Sirs,
I ve got a desktop and have installed Ubuntu 9.10 Karmic Koala...and recently made all the important updates..with these a new shell was installed...I rebooted my pc successfully with the latest shell! So i searched the web and uninstalled the older shell.Every time i boot my pc i choose Ubuntu instead of Xp and then the generic mode and then i see for a while a screen (screen No1) with 2 lines that say image=...... and after a while it asks me for login name! I enter my account name and then asks for password and after all it says last login (was...that day/month/
Linux work fine in my desktop but it is very boring the fact that i have to enter my login name and my password twice on every booting!
Ohh and excuse me for any missunderstandings, I am just new with Ubuntu...any advise would be usefull!
Thanks for your time
Yours sincerely Leo
