install cinelerra from terminal

Hi, I downloaded a video software called "cinelerra" in the terminal but do not know how to install it. please could you help.

Please elaborate, you can install software using sudo apt-get install
package-name. Other than that, you can use a great resource called
getdeb.com where you can get .deb files for a lot of software and then
just click-and-install
