error on some log outs

Asked by ryanm

When my step-dad and now my little brother logs out the error about a printer comes on and when you enter the piece at the end in the terminal it comes up with, Child exited on signal 15! I was hoping someone knows what this means. The end piece you put in the terminal is cupsd. When this comes up you have to a manual shut down to do anything. Please help me out.

Maybe the printer has some tasks not done, and has them queued, when shutting down you get this error....

so:
1) be sure there no queues
2) shutdown the printer

I have made sure that there are no tasks and the printer is not on. It will sometimes log out my step-dad whenever it wants to

The errors signal you mentioned above means that there are some tasks
left that printer hasn't accomplished, logging someone out in the
middle of nowhere means report a bug, this one is a common problem [1]
