Firefox does now start up but the download button just keeps on circling
and nothing happens
I tried to connect direct just to my ADSL modem and the same result.
I also tried to use sudo to disable ipv6 using
sudo vi /etc/modprobe.d/aliases
and the screen with
aliasnet.pf-10 ipv6
appears half way down but will not let me edit it.
The same is true even if I replace vi with edit except I now merely get
a warning.
As ipv6 appears to be the source of the problem can you suggest how I
can change/delete this.
It would be better to reply by email as the browser is currently
unavailable
