Sound in Backtrack

When operating on Windows, I was able to listen to music, and hear the system sounds, but in Backtrack, there's nothing. Not a single sound. I have connected my headphones to the back port, along with the mic, but there's nothing. Help?

Backtrack isn't supported here. Backtrack has it's own support network which is separate to Ubuntu's. I suggest you post here:
