Minimizing applications and Web Browser disappear!?

Hi Team,

I have noticed just lately that when ever Ii minimize an application, like Firefox or Office application (all of them) they don'y get minimized on the task bar but disappear!?

this also happened after one of the updates I Installed. it seem sthat I need to make my system stable and avoid updating altogether!? but, again, through problem like these ones and sharing we get to really learn to work with Linux.

I didn't see any changes! This is the second time that I have received change notices but each time that I look  it up I don't see any changes!

Please advise.

I think you need to restore the "Window list" applet to your toolbar:
- right click on a clear area of the panel and select
+ Add to panel

Add the "Window list" applet

Sure thanks. i will do that and see what happens. It seems that other have seen the exact same problem as I did

Solved. Thank very much "Tom" and "marcobra". Adding Windows List corrected this problem.

Tom, you had tried to answer in my earlier posting which was in regards to the Copying a file while in workgroup, while o Linux machine from a windows machine to the Linux machine which is still "Unsolved"/Unanswered!
