Which version was the "previous version" which worked, and which one are you running now?
Was there a version upgrade or release upgrade between the time when it was working and not working?
Which Ubuntu release are you running?

For diagnostic purposes please provide the output of the commands

uname -a
lsb_release -crid
apt-cache policy glabels glabels-data

Hi.

Previously I was using lubuntu18.04 and now its xubuntu20.04. I think xubuntu20.04 does not provide backend support for glables.

How do you know that the new version does not have code 128 support?

Maybe you can use the instructions in Bug #1901164 as workaround

Can you help with this problem?
