Gedit Search and Replace function

Hello - I realize Feisty isn't high priority, but I'm interested in seeing a couple of features for the Gedit text editor.

1.) Search and Replace instead of Search only. - Same as in Screem editor. - Very desirable.
2.) Line spacing of 1.5x or 2x option in the preferences dialogue. -Desirable. None of the available basic editors seem to offer this feature.

I don't know since when, but "Search and Replace" is possible inside gedit. And i'm very sure that you'll find it inside gedit under "Search -> Replace".

Hmm. Quite strange proposal. Why do you want that? Well, launchpad is the wrong place for such a proposal. You've got to file a feature request inside the bug tracker of gnome [1]. Perhaps someone finds your idea interesting and develops code :)

Duh,... don't I feel the nutter!

Thanks Christoph, (I recently switched to Gedit from the Screem editor
for markup so I'm a little unfamiliar with it's workings. Thanks
again.)
