Shockwave don't own flash anymore, it's owned by Adobe.

Can you give the output of:

lsb_release -a; uname -a; dpkg -l | egrep 'flash|gnash|swf|spark'

Thanks

Actionparsnip is a genious and knows what he is doing, after the operation advised, I just had to remove the flash plugin10 and reinstall it through Ubuntu software center and Vrooooooom! It works again. Thank you friends for the quick solution. So I presume that flash installer that came as an update was the culprit? Whatever it was, everything works now and Life is good again. No more miserable.Thank you friends forSOLVING THE PROBLEM
