how to install adobe plug in

since i upgradded the ubuntu i can't play any games when i try to uprgade the adobe flash player it keeps tellin me error 2 adobe flash player non-free promblem in it can you help my computer is crazy no since the upgrade

Can you give the output of:

lsb_release -a; uname -a; dpkg -l | egrep 'flash|gnash|swf|spark'

I suggest you to uninstall existing flash player and install a new one from adobe web site for the latest one. Select the deb package and it will open as a source in Ubuntu software center. download the source and go ahead with the installation. by now the latest available flash player will be installed on your system. Please check it and reply.

now i cant even get to the login screen . i have a black screen with
white words saying root@ibm-desktop and everything i try it wontwork
having to use my phone now to even check my e-mails

Please try this terminal commands to update your system...
sudo dpkg --configure -a
sudo apt-get --fix-missing install
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get upgrade
sudo apt-get dist-upgrade
sudo reboot

Also try running:

startx
