view background image

Asked by Shaun

How to turn the view background image setting back on? I right clicked and then selected the view background image to see what it does and now the background is gone, but there is no way to undo or reset this view background image.

Please help.

Thank you,

Shaun

type in the adress field of firefox

about:config

welcome to the hidden options of firefox !

use the search filter with "background" and find the key "browser.tabs.loadInBackground"

Olivier,

That did not fix the problem. Do you have any other suggestions?

Thank you,

Shaun

Not really...

when I right click on a background of a page and if I hit the "Show background image", I am presented with the background image (which is often very, small, tha background being a repetition of that image). hitting the "precedent" button brings me back to the entire site

Good luck !

Here is what I did:

Right clicked on the page you accidentally turned off.
There should be view page info.
click it.
Go to media tab and click on each of the things that appears in the box until you find one that says it is blocked.
unblock it
if there are anymore, unblock those. ^^
Hope taht helps
