Problems 1 and 3 are possibly different, but let's address them together until we know they're separate. Even if they are separate, the steps here may fix both. On the other hand, problem 2 is definitely unrelated, so you should start a separate question about that, which you can do by clicking this link: https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-panel/+addquestion

Try clearing the cache and cookies in your browser, then close your browser (i.e., all browser windows) and open a Terminal window (Ctrl+Alt+T or Applications > Accessories > Terminal) and run this command:

rm -r ~/.adobe/Flash_Player

If that command produces any output (for example, an error), please post that output here.

Then reopen your browser and see if the problem is fixed.

If it's not fixed, then it will be necessary to collect some additional information in order to figure out what is going on. So, in that case, first run this command in the Terminal and post the text from the Terminal (starting from where you paste in this command) here:

dpkg -l | grep flash; dpkg -l | grep gnash; dpkg -l | grep swf

OK. Then please provide the next piece of information. Specifically, run this command in the Terminal, and post the text from the Terminal (starting from the line on which you paste in this command) here:

dpkg -l | grep flash; dpkg -l | grep gnash; dpkg -l | grep swf
