Windows live ID

Asked by Roger Johansen

I keep receiving a message headed Windows live ID telling me that it is not available as my browser is set not to receive cookies. BUT my settings are set to receive cookies including third party. It is incredibly irritating as I have to delete the tab every time. How can I stop this message arriving? The address is as follows:
https://login.live.com/cookiesDisabled.srf?mkt=EN-GB&lc=2057

all the best

Please open a firefox browser
in the address bar type in "about:config"
accept the warning BUT READ IT FIRST
type ctrl+f (or simply scroll down) and type in "cookies"
copy the four or five lines

paste them into a reply.

A good place to read about this part of Firefox is here : http://kb.mozillazine.org/About:config_entries

Thanks,

Pete B.

Ehm.. that error page is your default home page... no wonder you still see it despite your cookie setting.
Change your home page to something different.
