Firefox opens with 2 Javascript errors

When trying to open Firefox3.0 in Linux, 2 Javascript application errors pop up: < load commands>:TypeError:wXMLDoc is null and <load AOLCustomButtons>:TypeError:wXMLDoc is null. When I alternately click open on each error at least twice, then Firefox opens.

Looks like you've got some extensions which are causing problems. Specifically one that is AOL related.
If this is the case you can try to disable the extensions until you find which one is causing the problem.

You also try to remove the profile directory which is at ~/.mozilla/firefox but simply deleting it will mean loss of all saved bookmarks & passwords.

I get a similar message when I go to open an application(?) whether it be Hotmail, etc.

A small 1" x 4" rectangular box comes up... with a goldish yield sign next to the words starting with 'TypeError'....as below.
It happens all the time. I'd like to cure my problem as well.

JAVASCRIPT APPLICATION

TypeError: Components.classes[cid] is undefined
