can't edit/create/send mail with hotmail live with ff3

 I m totaly new on Ubuntu.

 I have got the same problem that https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/firefox-3.0/+question/48739 and https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/firefox-3.0/+question/49738 and solutions didn't work for me.

 Any other solutions would be of great help.

then go to about:config at the URLs bar and change general.useragent.vendor to Firefox

3) what theme have you selected in hotmail?

Actually, since my Hotmail didn't worked I decide to go for Gmail. Also after two or three weeks using Gmail, I receive one of the regular Ubuntu update by my update manager. I can't remember exactly the date but I know It was about Firefox update. What was my surprise to find out that after the update done, my Hotmail box worked just fine. Now, I have no idea if it is because of the change I had made following the instructions mention above plus the update that make my Hotmail worked, or, if is just the update that is involve into my Hotmail working again. So basically the problem is solved but i can't tell you why. Therefore I'm gone click on "I'm Providing More Information" to hope to have a much more clear answer, that might help others facing the same problem.

Thanks for your answer, I ll do as you say. The only thing is that I have no idea how I could describe this possible bug. Anyway I ll try to do my best. Thanks again.
