Log a bug. If it was ok and its changed for the worse then it is a bug
btw. 24Mb install for an FTP client is a bit heinous imho, have you tried gftp it takes up 4Mb installed. Due to speed it will be slicker

Have you also tried closing all filezillas then running:

mv ~/.filezilla ~.filezilla_old

then rerunning the app? You will now have stock app settings which may help.

gurugdas (ggd-rns) said : #5

i did mv ~/.filezilla ~.filezilla_old in the terminal and rerun fzilla and
havoc.. all my settings are lost and after putting in the settings remote
directory is showing only few contents... not full contents although they
are there....and the single file transfer is only possible so ..back to
square one?? multiple files not possible

what next ? atleast the previous situation was better remote directory
showed all contents

You can rename the folder back to restore the settings. Thats why I only said to rename so we have a rollback path. Too many idiots say to delete the settings and then when it yields nothing their is no way to get the old settings back.

Open a terminal and type:

mv ~.filezilla_old ~/.filezilla

Hth

Its simply a case of reversing the command around. Have you tried a different FTP client? Maybe filezilla doesnt support the functionality you require and you should opt for a different one.

gurugdas (ggd-rns) said : #10

KINDLY TYPETHE COMMAND AND GIVE ME ...sorry i am a dumb man about pc.

also i have tried ftp client but same prob i face
CAN'T UPLOAD MULTIPLE FILES ..ONLY some part of the FILES TRANSFERRED
..besides the file zilla was working fine with my pc before that mv command (but one file at a time only )

As marcobra said:

Open a terminal and type:

mv ~.filezilla_old ~/.filezilla

Done

Can you help with this problem?
