Setup Multiple Outbound Addresses

Asked by mundietomnis

I'm currently using Gmail setup as IMAP within Evolution. I manage multiple addresses through my Gmail account (my personal, school, etc) and would like to be able to both send and receive email through these addresses. Running just IMAP, I can only send mail from my @gmail.com address and none of the others. I know in Thunderbird that one can easily add the additional addresses to the "addresses" listed on the account setup. I tried this for evolution but without success. Is there another way to do this short of setting up individual outbound accounts for each of these addresses? Thanks much.

Yah, you will have to make separate accounts for each address you want
to use. This way when you compose a message you can have multiple
addresses to choose from
