email to multiple recipients, hiding co-addressees

Asked by John Fraser

I wish to send the same email to multiple recipients, but in each case I only wish to show one addressee's details (ie to hide all the details of co-addressees).

How can I do this?

All advice gratefully received.

For this all E-Mail clients offer the bcc (blind carbon copy) address field.
Different from the cc (carbon copy) field the a recipient will only see his
own address.

That's exactly what you are looking for.

In Evolution:
- Open a new message.
- From the menu choose 'View' and select 'Bcc Field'
- add the recipients email adresses in the bcc field
- send the message

That's it.

thomas
