How is the "Snooze" capability supposed to work?

Asked by Barbara Tobias

When I create an appointment, set an alarm, and it comes up, if I am not ready for that item just then, I tried setting the "snooze" capability for one hour, but it does not come back and remind me again. Is it supposed to?

I recall this being a bug back in 2006+ in 2.2.2. What version of evolution are you using?

Google is great, especially if you know enough to figure out what you're
looking for :(

I tried removing the check on "notify" as suggested, and created an
appointment to test it. I set the appointment for 2:30 and when nothing
happened 15 minutes before that, I checked the appointments list that
shows up when you click on the date. It was there as 1:30 pm. I don't
know whether there is a time zone selection somewhere that I need to do
something about--I'm in Central Time Zone in the US. Meanwhile, I've
reset the appointment for 3:30 pm so that it now shows up as 2:30. I'll
let you know what happens.

It worked! Now I just need to either figure out why it is working an
hour earlier than I ask it to or remember to set appointments an hour
later. Thank you so much. I'll mark my original question solved.
