Did it ever work? If not gather all your email addresses and start Evolution, click on edit then on Preferences. Here you can set up your email accounts. Protocol will most likely be "pop", use +Add to set each up. You need the ISPmail account name for both incoming and outgoing mail. ie mail.name.com or something like that

Hope this helps

I recommend to use Thunderbird instead Evolution. Evolution makes a lot of problems and Thunderbird is a professional Email client.

i am new to a computer and i don"t think i have evolutions set up right. they ask things i don"t understand. I then called the cox tech. number and they told me that if i better off calling whomever runs the evolution mail that they most likely walk me through step by step. but i can" find a number to call.

To get a message to Evolution people open up Evolution and go up to the "Help" menu and try options like "Report a bug/problem" or "Get help on-line". Good luck with this.

Please try Thunderbird - its a lot less difficult and its Free Software too. Install Thunderbird by going up to the top taskbar and click on

Applications - Add/Remove Applications

then just type in thunderbird and right-click on Mozilla-Thunderbird when you see it. Then click on "Apply" and you'll be up and running in no time.

Good luck and regards from
Tom
