Thanks for your question.
Try inserting your IP, not your Exchange hostname in the URL. Which version of exchange do you run? Please notice that Exchange 2007 is currently not supported and won't run with evolution.

It did that too. It just tool longer and I got the same response back. We are using exchange 2003 SP2. Please let me know if you need more debugs.

Well, it just runs here :-)
How do you insert your username: "DOMAIN\username" or "username"? I heard some rumors that using "DOMAIN\username" can cause problems, but I can't find a valid bug report for that.
I'm unsure where to find more debug information, so I guess I'm out of suggestions. Sorry!

Thanks for the response. Several others are also experiencing this. After googling for a bit found this. This is exactly what I am seeing. Hopefully this helps a bit.

Hello,
Apologies if you've already sorted this, but I have one further suggestion.
Try entering your exchange server in the format http://
This is the only way I can get Evolution to connect to our server at work which is (I think) running the same version of exchange as you.
Regards,
Andy
