Storing/Fetching Errors when receiving emails

Asked by grhaus

When I do a "send/receive", I get the email but also the notes at the bottom
Error while Storing folder 'inbox'.
Error while Fetching Mail.
but I can read the messages, but must close the site and re-open it to be able to delete any messages, and the error messages go away.

Who is your email provider?
Have you checked your settings?
Do your partitions have free space?

My email provider is Verizon, but my mail is sent to me via IEEE for
transmission to me.
I'm not too sure about my settings, Can you tell me which ones to check
please?

I suppose my partitions do have free space, I'm not a heavy user. How do
I check these, to be sure?

Thanks for looking into this,
grhaus

Thank you for your assistance on this problem.
My son visited this past week and assisted me in looking into the
problem.
He found that windows took it upon themselves to do a 'clean-up' of my
disks and removed UBUNTU from my memory, for some unknown reason to me.

Therefore, please delete this problem from your files, since I will be
doing a total re-load. Thanks to having a recent back-up of my files.

Best regards,
George Haus
