Hi,
I have a cloud server hosted domain, www.handler.org.uk
It is hosted at www.compila.com

Usually I used Horde as webmail.
I started with Linux yesterday, and use for the local email the
Evolution. I could send 2 emails, then I got this message.

I dont know, where to start with the problem. Is it the internet
provider, is it the domain hosting, is it Evolution?

I dont understand this message, which server is it referring to.

Thank you very much for your help and time
Gabriella

obviously it was a problem with your cloud service.

Hi,
the problem is still the same.
You say, that it has nothing to do with Evolution?
What do you suggest, who I have to connect as next?

Hi,
following experience I have:
I could send emails at 12.30
Then it stopped and at 14.30 appr. sent a few messages again.
then it stopped again and at 9pm sent the content of the outbox out again.

The time inbetween I received the same error message.

"Welcome response error: The server has reached its limit for processing requests from your host.
Please try again later"

What can this be? Has anyone an idea?
I am located in Greece and using the setting for outgoing and incoming email
webmail.myhosting.com

thanks a lot
Gabriella

Hi,

The problem is not with evolution. The problem is with the server: Evolution is not a server it is a client.

The server is the on machine evolution connects to in your case webmail.myhosting.com

I suggest you contact them and find out what limitations they have. Many mail providers have "fair use" limits because it does not look good for them if they are seen to be passing on spam.

I would be surprised it the limits were set very low though. Assuming you are not exceeding their limits then they will need to fix the problem.

Can you help with this problem?
