No evolution icon appears in Applications list

Asked by rrcn

I just installed Ubuntu 10.04 and evolution was already installed by default. The problem is it doesn't appear in my "Applications" -->"internet" box. I would like to put it on my launcher panel, but the only way I can start it is by command line. How do I fix this (minor) problem?

Press ALT+F2 and type:

alacarte

manually add the entry in the menu as you wish

once added you can right click the item and add it to the panel / desktop / whatever.
