cannot open documents anymore

After having used TOOLS/SPELLING AND GRAMMAR in LibreOffice Writer to have some french spelling of a few french words, and then having made some copy-pastes to change the title of a few documents and also the title of a few icones on desktop I can't open any documents in my computer ! When I try I get a window named "Document Viewer" which says "unable to open document". Help would be greatly appreciated because I'm really jammed.

Double click the document file >> properties >> "Open with" tab. On this sceen, check if you documents is correctly associated with LibreOffice application.

Are you able to open documents with LibreOffice already open (selecting file > open > document) ?

I succeeded in opening my documents by right-clicking them and opening with
LibreOffice Writer. Thanks.

If you click to open with a different app in the right click menu, you can set the application as you wish to use and set to remember the association
