I'm trying to fill out a resume but i'm unable to type on it.

Asked by Dennis Gillian

I downloaded a resume for a certain organization, hoping to be able to type the required information onto it, but am unable to type anything on the form. Is there any way to convert it into format that I can enter information on it?

John Oliver, chances are it's a pdf.

If it opened in Evince, I don't think you can edit it.

You need to open it in Abiword or OpenOffice Writer to be able to modify it.

The downloaded form is probably write-protected. Open it and do "Save As" in order to create a copy that is NOT write protected, or just find the file and change it's permissions. Happens to me most every time.
