I am trying to log on to a banking site, The browser shows that it is secure, and starts to load...and then..just stops mid processing. There are no errors timeout....just the Screen showing "processing............" and it never changes. The browser shows that it is secure...How should I start to answer this problem?

Are you able to access it from another box, so you know it isn't the sites problem? Which browser are you using, firefox? Have you been able to use firefox there before, in Windows for instance?

I have been able to get to the site on this box with OPera, but Epiphany
and Fire fox do not connect.

There is the log on Screen that comes up and ask for User name. I enter
the user name , and hit enter. Then the system goes to a window with
with a bar Across the screen that says processing...Now normally at this
point the screen would come up with a Picture and ask for the password,
or if this was the fist time I had logged on with this browser/computer
the bank site would present 1 of 4 challenge questions, and the go to
the picture and password. Fire fox and Epiphany never ask the question,
or present me with the password entry screen.

Hello,

May be the site is just too IE-oriented?

I do not have an answer to this problem, but I can confirm it's occurrence as I'm getting the same thing with my bank site. This only began occurring recently for me.

Works on other browsers in Kubuntu (didn't try Epiphany, tried Konqueror), works in all browsers in XP.

When I use Firefox in Kubuntu, I get "processing login" after the initial login screen (name only) of the bank site, before it gets to the random-of-four question screen.

Can you help with this problem?
