Go to Archive menu, Save as
and change the extension of the file.png to file.jpg

if this not work, also you can convert png to jpg with Gimp, with the same:
archive -> save as, and change the extension

JPG is not the Microsoft format, don't worry about that, JPG works simply
fine in Ubuntu and many other imag formats.

By the way.. do you speak Spanish?? Because yo mark the Spanish like your
language, if this is the case, you can make the question in Spanish.
