Luz,

You can see the instruction differ for version U-08.04LTS and U-08.10 ...
Please describe here exact what you did and where it went wrong...

You downloaded the Lexmark-Printer-Driver, and saved it on a certain location; i say (as example) that it is the file /home/luz/DownlddDriver.deb...

Then in a terminal window (open by the path <Application>,... <Accesoires>,... <Terminal>,... )
you enter this command (replace the path&filename with the place and file you downloaded)

   sudo dpkg -i /home/luz/DownlddDriver.deb

Did this command went well ?!?
Now enter the command

   sudo /usr/local/lexmark/setup.lexprint

Did you see errors, or is all well now ?!?

   sudo lexprint

gives you the possibility to set up your Z611.
Please reply here at what stage something goes wrong.

I think you mean that the LexmarkZ611 is not listed in the driver list (i have not installed a Lexmark..)

If this is the case, then please try to find out which listed Lexmark printer almost is the same as your model, e.g. Z610...)
Install as if your printer is a listed one.

Does the Lexmark-website give any hints?!?

Can you help with this problem?
