project too large for the disc

When I try to burn a video project [2 hr 55 minute ] on a dvd a yellow box appears
please choose another dc or dvd
or insert a new one
project for the disc even with
the overburn option

switching to image file
svcd the burn button reappears
I followed along some of the older bugs & checked packages, everything appears to be in order

I did try several different DVD's & they are recognized as being blank 4.4g DVD

The length is rhetoric, if the bitrate of the video is 10mb/s then the maximum length will be about 2 hours, if it is 2Mb/s then you can get anything from 4 to 5 hours of video (albeit at a lot lesser quality). You need to reduce the quality of the video until it fits on the disk
