no cronjob in jammy

I installed bootmail in jammy, but there is no cronjob created.

I installed it with apt.

Why do you think that there should be a cronjob?

Look at https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/bootmail/+changelog and search for "cron"

You will see that already for a decade (since version 1.7) bootmail is run as service and no longer as cron job.
