Do you have the win32-codecs installed?

Not previously, but now after installing them and reinstalling Banshee, I still have the problem.
I don't think wav is a restricted codec, anyway. The files preview in the gnome/nautilus environment simply by rolling over them with the cursor, so my OS has the capability to play them; Banshee just import them.

O.K. I am adding some information in hopes that someone can help.
My Banshee will play individual wav files through the Music : Open Location menu, but it will not import them.
Any Ideas?

Sorry for the lack of response, apparently when I registered I used this old email which I never check anymore.
Thanks for your attention to my bug report. It sounds like it's fixed now. When I have a chance I'll give it another look and report again if necessary.

Thanks!

Tim

Subject: [Question #5367]: Status of bug #97006 changed to 'Invalid' in banshee in ubuntu

Bug #97006 status changed in banshee in ubuntu:

    Incomplete => Invalid

Status change explanation given by Andrew Conkling:

Re-closing this since there's no more information on it. Converting the
files from WAV format (at least to FLAC) is certainly a good workaround.
