Raring is EOL and no longer supported in any way. It's like searching for updates on Windows 98. There aren't any.

I suggest you wipe Raring off and do a clean install of Trusty. Trusty is LTS and supported til April 2019. You can restore user data from backup.

Thanking you for your kind reply, but I would like to know further in detail about the process that how should I do it. I am new to Linux Environment and I tried all what I could earlier. Kindly guide me on this.. How should I end raring in it and add Trusty to it.

If you have 13.10 then remove it and do a clean install of Trusty which is LTS and supported til April 2019. 13.10 (codename Saucy) is EOL and no longer supported in any way
