Requires installation of untrusted packages stop installing software and updates
'Requires installation of untrusted packages' error message prevents installing new software or updates for Ubuntu 12.04
I tried using Terminal sudo apt-get update but didn't get NO_PUBKEY numbers -message'unable to connect to nz.archive.
Clicking Check button in Update manager allowed some updates to install but not new soft ware.
Unable to find GPG key.

gksudo gedit /etc/apt/
Change:
nz.archive
to:
archive
on each lines, save the new file and close gedit. Then run:
sudo apt-get update

Thank you Andrew I think this has solved the problem. The latest updates installed ok. I may still be having some problems installing plugin for Movie Player but I will close this question and see if it get sorted out.
