Can someone check the german mirror servers for raring universe?

Asked by Sasa Paporovic

Upgrading the repositories for Ubuntu13.04 Raring from the german mirror servers causes some trouble, because not all packages for universe are mirrored.

So every user who uses the german mirrors get a Ubuntu12.10/Ubuntu13.04 mixed system, which introduces bugs like:

https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/tracker/+bug/1082907

or

https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/kdenetwork/+bug/1082629

which are properly not reproducible for others.

A switch to the main servers is able to fix the problems, but that is not obvious.

Sure it is. As you are using pre-release you should be an advance user of Ubuntu so you will be aware of switching package sources and so forth.

Mhh,

yes Andrew, but a complete rsync run would be nicer.

This here is not so far ment as a question what is going arround.

It is more ment in a sense if somebody could inform the maintainer of the server/s.

A bugreport seems to be not the right for this.

Well, yes it would but efforts are more focussed on the supported releases. The sync will eventually complete.

o.K but I would like to contact the maintainers more directly and point on this weakness in the sync now.(This creates silly bugreports, also by others, e.g which are closed by launchpad, because of not actual packages).(

When there are not enough resources - > all good.

But it looks more like a little mistake.

Please let this open until someone who has direct influence on the sync comes arround, or you can give me the contact if you know who should get a message on this.

There are bugs which you have posted which will alert the devs to the issue. You could switch to the main server which may be more reliable.

Can you help with this problem?
