This looks like a configuration issues with the user's apt sources rather than an actual bug with apt.

Your sources are mixed between version of Ubuntu (natty, oneiric, precise). What version of Ubuntu are you running? Please post the contents of /etc/apt/sources.list
If you have any .list files in /etc/apt/sources.list.d, lease post their contents too.

I'm sorry, I don't have much knowledge on how Linux works. I don't know how to get those contents for you. What command can I use in terminal? I am running 12.04, but the install was not smooth. I had quite a few crashes along the way. Maybe it would be best to get a CD and re-install?

Hi,

I have exactly the same problem:
W: GPG error: http://ppa.launchpad.net precise Release: The following signatures couldn't be verified because the public key is not available: NO_PUBKEY A777609328949509

I've done this:
Try the following command:
sudo apt-key adv --recv-keys --keyserver ppa.launchpad.net 5A9A06AEF9CB8DB0

And I still have the same problem.
don't know what to do really.

Thanks in advance for your help
Regards
Erix
