I cannot install anything on Ubuntu

Asked by Daniel Schmidt

Whenever I install something through the software center, or by download through the internet, I get the same error. :(
When I installed Ubuntu through Windows 7 I got a "Error Code 3" message when it was complete, and when I run ubuntu, it runs fine but I just cannot install anything. I put in my password, and then it installs, it gets to around 99% complete and gives me an error and then all the software is gone! I need help otherwise Ubuntu will never work out for me, its pretty sad that this is what happens. -.-
